报告摘要Recent experimental investigations have identified fascinating electronic orders in kagome materials, such as intriguing superconductivity, charge density wave (CDW) and nematicity. Notably, there is evidence of spontaneous time-reversal symmetry (TRS) breaking within the CDW phase, though its origins remain elusive. In this talk, I will first briefly review the exotic properties of these kagome superconductors. Then, I will talk about the effect model and the unique sublattice texture associated with van Hove singularities in the kagome lattice, which turns out to have significant effect on the correlated states. Finally, I will focus on our proposed scenario to realize a TRS breaking CDW in kagome lattice. Potential experimental implications will be also discussed.

报告人简介:Xianxin Wu obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2016). Subsequently, he conducted postdoctoral research at Wuerzburg University and the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research from 2016 to 2022. In 2022, he joined the Institute of theoretical Physics as an associate professor and his research interests mainly include unconventional superconductivity, correlated electron systems and topological phases of matter.
