报告摘要:Thermal metamaterials have attracted attention for their ability to control heat transfer. The key challenge is to achieve precise control of thermal transport in complex systems. To tackle this, transformation thermotics is used as a core framework. By applying geometric transformations, we developed innovative thermal metamaterials, including 3D thermal cloaks, topological corner states, and so on. These designs enable directional heat transfer, intelligent temperature control, and energy-efficient non-reciprocity. Experimental results validate these designs, demonstrating practical viability. The findings show that thermal metamaterials enhance control over heat processes, with potential applications in infrared protection and intelligent heat management. The integration of machine learning into metamaterial design offers further optimization opportunities. In conclusion, this talk introduces thermal metamaterials' theoretical understanding and opens new paths for real-world applications. Future research will focus on expanding topological thermotics and intelligent design frameworks for advanced thermal control.

报告人简介:黄吉平,复旦大学物理系教授。1998年和2000年分别获得苏州大学物理系学士学位和硕士学位,2003年获得香港中文大学物理系博士学位,其后在德国马普学会高分子研究所做博士后、洪堡学者,各一年。20059-20072月,复旦大学物理系研究员;20073月起,复旦大学物理系教授;201212月起,复旦大学物理系谢希德青年特聘教授20181月起,复旦大学特聘教授;20241月起,复旦大学物理系谢希德特聘教授20062月起,复旦大学物理系博士生导师。20071-20093月、20207月起,复旦大学物理系副主任。2017年获得国家杰出青年科学基金。大会主席:国际热力学与热超构材料学术会议(2020年起,两年一届)。提出了“diffusion metamaterials”这个概念,开创性贡献已经获得同行的肯定与认可,应邀在Nature Reviews Physics  [5, 218 (2023); 6, 554 (2024)]Reviews of Modern Physics [96, 015002 (2024)]发表综述论文。
